Images from the ringing

We've posted images from the recent ringing online - you can see a preview of them via the slideshow on the right, or you can view them all in full at http://picasaweb.google.com/forestrycommissionscotland. You can also click on any of the slideshow images to go to the online album.

While you're there, have a look at the pictures of the Huntly Peregrines too.

Hope you enjoy them!

  1. Is it likley that the youngsters will still be around at the end of July as I am in the Edinburgh area and would have an overnight stop if it was worth it.

  2. Yes our birds will definately still be in the area by late July. the 'teenagers' will just be practising their flying and fishing skills and very much still using the nest as a base from which to venture out. With three chicks, it is likely there will usually be someone on the nest. During August their independance grows and this is the best time of the whole year to try your hand at catching the Ospreys out and about, fishing in the area.
